About the EVOC
Miramar College is offering eligible students $4 million in Cares Act/HEERF funding for the Fall 2021 semester. In its second round of funding for the Fall 2021 term, the College will be distributing another $2.6 million in CARES Act funds to eligible students enrolled for the Fall 2021 term. Last month, the College distributed $1.4 million to 1,400 students in its first round of fall funding. Students must download the Edquity App to apply and receive funds.
As Veteran’s Day fast approaches, the San Diego Miramar College Foundation is proud to announce that it has received a $10,000.00 grant from San Diego Gas & Electric for its Vets-2-Jets program.
Approximately 50% of local community college students grapple with food insecurity. As a result of not having reliable, consistent access to food, students are more likely to miss classes or drop out of school.

Miramar College held its first annual Equity Summit featuring “The Constance M. Carroll Lecture Series” Oct. 28-29. The Summit also featured the 2021 ASG Art for Equity Scholarship and Art Contest. Dr. Carroll served 17 years as the District Chancellor. She retired from her position on June 30, 2021.
