Miramar College plans to offer some class sections on campus during the fall 2020 semester, therefore parking permits will be required for the Fall 2020 semester. Advanced parking permits can be purchased through August 5. Permits purchased by noon on August 5 will be mailed. Permits purchased after this date will need to be picked on campus. Permits can be purchased online for $40 through the mySDDCD portal (myportal.sdccd.edu). Permits are required at all times on campus. Day permits machines are available in most student lots.
·Both faculty/staff and student parking will be enforced beginning August 17th.
·Faculty/staff can contact Debra Picou;s office at 629-388-6416 for an electronic permit. Campus police offices will be open with limited days/hours.
·Daily permit machines will be available and are being cleaned/disinfected regularly. Machines accept exact change/cash only. There is no mobile payment option at this time.
·Wi-Fi parking is still available without a permit in lot 2. All of the same Wi-Fi rules are in effect. Students using the Wi-Fi lots must remain in their vehicle.
·Unoccupied vehicles parked in student or staff parking without a parking permit displayed may be cited.
Our first mailing of student permits will go out on Monday, 8/3.
