In March 2017, the College engaged in a site visit from the Accreditation Evaluation team of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). Accreditation visits are done to ensure that the College is providing students with a high quality education that meet the ACCJC standards. This is accomplished through the College’s consistent efforts to create a campus culture that values evidence, collaborative inquiry, and targeted action. The College's Self-Evaluation Report was submitted to ACCJC in January 2017. This report documented the College’s determination to support San Diego Miramar College’s commitment to achieving its mission and promote student success.
